Stalking is A-Okay on Facebook?

Facebook is constantly developing new features, and one of them is reportedly a so-called “stalker button,” which would allow a user to subscribe to alerts that tell them what their friends are doing. Specifically, the alerts would inform the user when their friends post updates, photos, links, and so forth.
Essentially, the feature allows you to subscribe to a user, and in so doing, you’ll get details on almost every aspect of their Facebook activity. It’s not yet known whether this feature will be an opt-in feature, or if you’ll be able to opt out. In any event, it could potentially raise privacy concerns, and it just seems to invite stalking if abused. On the other hand, it also seems as if it’s an easy way to keep tabs on a friend’s activities without any effort.
