I have always been a fan of Canon’s PowerShot brand, but Panasonic has no doubt become a player in the consumer cameras market. Today, Panasonic announces three new cameras in their Lumix lineup: the DMC-FZ35, FP8, and DMC-ZR1.
- DMC-FZ35 features a 12.1 MP, 27mm wide-angle lens, 18x optical zoom, and 720P HD video capability. MSRP is $399.99 in black
- FP8 features a compact 12.1 MP, 28mm wide-angle lens, 4.6x optical zoom, and 720P HD video capability. MSRP is $299.99 in black, red, and silver
- DMC-ZR1 features a 12.1MP, 25mm ultra-wide-angle lens, 8x optical zoom, featuring the world’s first 0.3mm thin aspherical lens. MSRP is $279.95 in black, red, blue, and silver
Tentative release date for all three cameras is scheduled for September 2009. Check out the pictures in our gallery below!
