New Blackberry Curve 8520 on T-Mobile Aug. 5

Research In Motion, the creators of the popular Blackberry device, released the official web page for the new Blackberry Curve 8520 today. The smartphone is the first “Mac-ready” Blackberry of its kind and will be released on August 5th exclusively to T-Mobile for $129 (with a 2 year contract).
In addition to some of the more regular features found in typical Blackberries–2.0 MP camera, WiFi 802.11b/g, and Bluetooth–the Curve 8520 does away with the trackball and replaces it with a touchpad. Personally, I’ve always felt comfortable (playing Brickbreaker!) with the trackballs on my 8310 and 8830. This should be quite an interesting change!
